The Hook Experiment is an artist-led space where art, creativity, and community come together. Our galleries are available for exhibitions, workshops, retreats, private gatherings, performances, and more.

Events, Parties, Meetings, Films & Performances

$150 per hour

Our exhibition rental provides artists and curators with space to display their work and engage with the community.

Included

• Four weeks of exhibition space.

• Four hours of hanging and installation.

• Use of existing gallery lighting and equipment, including the video room, pedestals, tables, and chairs, as appropriate for the exhibition.

• Reasonable deinstallation time.

• One opening reception and one closing reception or workshop, at no additional rental charge.

The renter is responsible for organizing, staffing, setting up, and cleaning up any reception or workshop.

Please Note

• The Hook oversees all hanging and installation to protect our brick walls and maintain the integrity of the gallery.

•  The rental is for exhibition space and does not provide exclusive use of the gallery for the full four weeks.

• The Hook may continue compatible programming during the exhibition, creating additional opportunities for the exhibitor to engage with visitors and the community.

• Gallery hours are the responsibility of the renter. Normal gallery hours are Friday–Sunday, 11 AM–2 PM.

•  A gallery attendant may be arranged for $35 per hour, subject to availability.

• Exhibitors are responsible for insurance, staffing, setup, and cleanup of their receptions and workshops.

• Additional programs, including workshops, films, and performances, are priced separately.

Short-term rentals for creative workshops, retreats, and group activities.

3 Days

• Front Gallery: $1,500

• Both Galleries: $2,250

5 Days

• Front Gallery: $2,000

• Both Galleries: $3,000

Rental details, including access hours, setup, breakdown, cleaning, and technical support, will be confirmed for each booking.

$150 per hour

• The hourly rental includes:

• ½ hour setup before the event.

• ½ hour breakdown after the event.

• Use of tables and chairs.

• Use of The Hook's projection system.

Additional Information

• Cleaning fees may apply if the gallery is not cleaned up by the renter.

• Renters are responsible for obtaining any required licenses or permits for serving food or alcohol.

• Proof of appropriate insurance coverage is required.

• Event details and any additional requirements will be confirmed in advance.
